About Asoka movie :

Santosh Sivan is the director and co-writer of the 2001 Indian Hindi-language epic historical drama film As̅oka. The early years of the Mauryan Empire’s emperor Asoka, who ruled the majority of the Indian subcontinent in the third century BCE, are dramatized in this version.

Alongside Kareena Kapoor, Rahul Dev, Danny Denzongpa, Hrishitaa Bhatt, and Ajith Kumar in a special appearance, Shah Rukh Khan plays the film’s titular character. Radhika Sangoi, Juhi Chawla, and Khan produced it. Abbas Tyrewala wrote the dialogue, while Santosh Sivan and Saket Chaudhary wrote the screenplay. In India, it was first published as Ashoka: The Great.

About Santosh Sivan :

Santosh Sivan, an Indian cinematographer, director, producer, and actor, was born on February 8, 1964, and is well-known for his work in Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam cinema. After completing his studies at the Film and Television Institute of India, Santosh has directed and produced fifty documentaries and fifty feature films. He is considered to be among the best and most talented cinematographers in India.

Twelve National Film Awards, six Filmfare Awards, four Kerala State Film Awards, and three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards have all been bestowed upon him.

After graduating from the Film and Television Institute of India, Santosh went on to complete 45 feature films and 41 documentaries. He is the most awarded Director of Photography in India and a founding member of the Indian Society of Cinematographers.

Under the stage name Annu Malik, Malik started his career in 1975 as a music director for comedian-turned-filmmaker Mohan Choti’s Hunterwali 77 (1977). Songs for the movie were composed by Malik’s father, Sardar Malik, while Anu only wrote one song, “Zulm O Sitam Par Itrane Wale,” which was sung by Asha Bhosle. Although the soundtrack was unheard, it was the start of his long relationship with Bhosle.

He created the anti-substance abuse documentary Dead End in 2003, and it was screened at multiple film festivals. Tanya Khubchandani, a seventeen-year-old drug activist and college student, produced this.

About Anand Bakshi :

Anand Bakshi, also known as Bakshi Anand Prakash Vaid, was born on July 21, 1930, into a Mohyal Brahmin family of the Vaid clan in Rawalpindi, Punjab Province, British India (now in Punjab, Pakistan). Following India’s partition, the family flew in on a Dakota aircraft, arrived in Delhi, and then moved to Pune, Meerut, and back to Delhi.

Since he was young, Bakshi has enjoyed writing poetry, but he mostly did it as a hobby.[Reference required] In an interview with Doordarshan in 1983, Bakshi recalled that following his early education, he enlisted in the Indian Navy, where he was limited in his writing opportunities.

Bakshi entered the Hindi film industry to establish himself as a writer and singer, but he ultimately found greater success as a lyricist. He made his breakthrough as a songwriter for songs in the 1958 Brij Mohan film Bhalaa Aadmi, starring Bhagwan Dada. He composed four songs for the movie. In November 1956, he recorded “Dharti Ke Laal Na Kar Itna Malaal” for the movie, which he sang in an All India Radio interview.

Indian Urdu poet, lyricist, author, screenwriter, and film director Gulzar (born Sampooran Singh Kalra; 18 August 1934) is well-known for his contributions to Hindi cinema. He is considered to be among the best poets of this era in Urdu.As a lyricist for the 1963 movie Bandini, he began his career with music director S.D. Burman. He went on to collaborate with Burman, Salil Chowdhury, Vishal Bhardwaj, and A. R. Rahman, among other music directors.

In addition, Gulzar writes screenplays, dialogue, and poetry. He directed TV shows Mirza Ghalib in the 1980s and movies like Aandhi and Mausam in the 1970s. In 1993, he also directed Kirdaar.

About Hema Sardesai :

Hema Sardesai is the younger of Kumudini Sardesai’s two daughters. Kumudini is from Parra, and her father, Dr. Kashinath Sardesai, is from Savoi-Verem. The doctor used to be the Goa cricket captain. Her teacher, the late Mrs. Sequiera, first noticed her talent when she was six years old. She was born and raised in the Panaji neighborhood of Boca de Vaca, and she is a graduate of Sharada Mandir School.
