About Arijit Singh :

Arijit Singh is an Indian playback singer and songwriter who was born on April 25, 1987. Awarded multiple accolades, such as a National Film Award and seven Filmfare Awards, he has composed songs in multiple Indian languages, mainly Bengali and Hindi. He is praised for his substantial contributions to modern Bollywood music and is well-known for his ability to deliver songs in a variety of musical styles. He’s regarded as one of his generation’s finest vocalists.

In 2005, Singh made his television debut as a contestant on the modern reality series Fame Gurukul. Mithoon composed the song “Phir Mohabbat” for the 2011 film Murder 2, featuring Singh with Saim Bhatt and Mohammed Irfan. Despite the song’s popularity, Singh made his debut in Hindi cinema.

He had performed well-known songs in the same year, including “Duaa” from Shanghai, “Uska Hi Banana” from 1920: Evil Returns, and “Raabta” from Agent Vinod.

In 2013, he gained notoriety after the hits “Tum Hi Ho” and “Chahun Main Ya Naa” from Aashiqui 2 were released. On April 25, 1987, in Jiaganj, Murshidabad, West Bengal, Arijit Singh was born into a Bengali Hindu family named Aditi Singh and a Punjabi Sikh father named Kakkar Singh. Lahore was the home of his paternal family during the Partition. At an early age, he started receiving instruction in music at home. His grandma was a singer, and his maternal aunt studied Indian classical music.

His mother sang and played the tabla, and his maternal uncle performed tabla music. After completing his education at Raja Bijay Singh High School, he attended Sripat Singh College, an institution of the University of Kalyani. He claimed that although he “cared more about music,” he was a decent student, so his parents had chosen to have him trained professionally.

Rajendra Prasad Hazari taught him Indian classical music, while Dhirendra Prasad Hazari instructed him on tabla. He learned pop music and Rabindranath Tagore’s songs, known as Rabindra Sangeet, from Birendra Prasad Hazari. He began training under the Hazari brothers when he was three years old, and at nine years old, the government awarded him a scholarship to study Indian classical music singing.

He grew up listening to classical music from Bengal, Beethoven, and Mozart.[Reference required] He loved listening to Kishore Kumar, Hemant Kumar, and Manna Dey and had great admiration for musicians such as Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, Ustad Rashid Khan, Zakir Hussain, and Anand Chatterjee.

At the age of 18, Singh’s master Rajendra Prasad Hazari, who believed that “Indian classical music was a dying tradition,” forced him to leave his birthplace and go on the reality show Fame Gurukul (2005), which marked the beginning of his musical career. After placing sixth in the audience poll, he was eliminated.

Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali heard him perform “Yun Shabnami” during the performance, and decided to use him for a song in his next movie Saawariya. Singh’s version of the script was dropped during production. It was never made available. Following the Fame Gurukul, he was signed by Tips chief executive Kumar Taurani for an album that was never published.

He took part in and won a different reality show called 10 Ke 10 Le Gaye Dil. After deciding to go independent, he moved to Mumbai in 2006 and lived in a rented apartment in the Lokhandwala neighborhood. He used the ₹1 million prize money from 10 ke 10 Le Gaye Dil to construct his recording studio. As a music producer, he started writing songs and producing music for radio stations, news networks, and commercials.

Born in India on July 25, 1977, Ram Sampath is a composer, music producer, and musician. He began his career writing commercial jingles for the advertising industry in Mumbai. Later, he composed music for pop albums, such as Shaan’s Tanha Dil (2000), and then moved on to write music for movies like Khakee, Delhi Belly (2011), Talaash (2012), Raees, and others.

He has composed music for commercial jingles for companies such as the Times of India, Thums Up, Pepsi, Airtel, and Docomo.Sampath was up in Chembur, Mumbai, where he attended OLPS High School. His parents are Kannadiga and Tamil. His grandpa TV Ramanujam was one of the founders of Shanmukhananda Hall, a cultural center in Sion, Mumbai, which was founded in 1952.

Both of his parents had a passion for music. Leading Carnatic musicians and singers thus frequented his ancestral home. Later on, he spent eight years studying Carnatic music as well. He played piano in a rock band while attending Podar College in Mumbai to study commerce after finishing his education.

He has written commercial jingles for companies like Pepsi, Thums Up, Airtel, Docomo, and the Times of India, for which he wrote the theme song for the 2013 “I Lead India” campaign.

Ampath’s first break as a film soundtrack composer came from the Ram Madhvani-directed Let’s Talk (2002). After that, he created music for a number of Rajkumar Santoshi films, including Khakee (2004) and Family (2006), in addition to Jumbo (2008), Aagey Se Right (2009), and Luv Ka The End (2011). Indian actress Pratibha Ranta was born on December 17, 2000, and she is active in both television and Hindi cinema. In 2020–2021, Ranta made her acting debut in the television series Qurbaan Hua. Since then, she has acted in two web series: Heeramandi (2024) and Laapataa Ladies (2024), her cinematic debut.

Childhood

On December 17, 2000, Ranta was born into a Pahari Rajput family from Tikkar in the Himachal Pradesh district of Shimla. Later on, she moved to Shimla to pursue her education.[3][4] She attended the Convent of Jesus and Mary in Chelsea, Shimla for her education, and she then earned her filmmaking degree from Mumbai’s Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Management.

Career
