Indian composer and singer Nakash Aziz, better known by his stage name Nakash, was born on February 24, 1985. Childhood
On December 12, 1950, Rajinikanth was born Shivaji Rao Gaikwad into a Marathi Hindu household in Bangalore, Mysore State (now Karnataka). His father, Ramoji Rao Gaekwad, was a police constable, and his mother was a housewife. His ancestors were from Maharashtra’s Pune district, specifically Mavadi Kadepathar. In a family with two older brothers (Satyanarayana Rao and Nageshwara Rao) and a sister (Aswath Balubhai), he is the youngest of four siblings. The family relocated to Bangalore’s Hanumantha Nagar area and constructed a home there after his father retired from his job in 1956. When he was nine years old, his mother passed away.
The Gavipuram Government Kannada Model Primary School in Bangalore is where Rajinikanth completed his elementary schooling. When he was younger, he was “Studious and mischievous” having a strong passion for basketball, football, and cricket. His brother enrolled him in the Ramakrishna Math, a Hindu monastery established by the Ramakrishna Mission, during this period. He was taught history, tradition, and the Vedas in math, which ultimately gave him a spiritual sense.
