About Om Shanti Om :

Om Prakash “Omi” Makhija, a young performer in Mumbai in 1977, aspires to be a well-known actor. He shares a modest chawl with his pal Pappu Master and his widowed mother, Bela. He and Pappu make a lasting impact on Shanti when they disguise themselves and sneak into the Dreamy Girl movie premiere one evening. He keeps his scheme a secret at first, but Sandy will assist him after he tells her the truth. Bela attempts to frighten Mukesh at the movie’s inauguration while dressed as a witch, but her ploy is unsuccessful. Om subtly alludes to Mukesh’s remorse through Shanti’s narration at a masquerade gala for the movie’s soundtrack premiere. Childhood

Dadlani grew up in Bandra, West Bombay, in a Sindhi Hindu household.[9] After graduating from Hill Grange High School on Pedder Road, Cumbala Hill, South Bombay, he spent two years (1989–90) at Jai Hind College, University of Mumbai, and then in Churchgate, South Bombay, at H.R. College of Commerce and Economics, HSNC University. He earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce in 1994.

Career In 1994, Dadlani began his musical career as the frontman of the electronica/indie-rock group Pentagram, based in Mumbai. Pentagram is regarded as one of the forerunners of independent music in India.

Dadlani gained notoriety while playing with the band. as a vocalist, composer, and lyricist for Bollywood films, including Bluffmaster! (2005), Salaam Namaste (2005), and Jhankaar Beats (2003).
