1997–2010: Formative years and schooling
On March 27, 1997, in Buriram Province, Thailand, she was legally baptized as Pranpriya Manobal. Later, on the recommendation of a fortune teller for wealth, she legally changed her name to Lalisa, which means “the one being praised”.

Raised by her Thai mother, Chitthip Brüschweiler, and her Swiss stepfather, chef Marco Brüschweiler, she was an only child. Lisa attended Praphamontree Schools I and II for her secondary schooling. She is multilingual; she speaks fluent Korean and English in addition to her native Thai. as elementary Chinese and Japanese.

Pre-debut activities, 2012–2015

Career

Tedder first obtained an internship at DreamWorks SKG in Nashville, where he sang on several demos, after working as a waiter and a shop assistant at Pottery Barn. Tedder recalls that soon after arriving, DreamWorks extended an offer to him for his first publishing agreement; but, he was determined to pursue an artistic career, and his first step into that field came from an entirely opposite direction.
