About Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013):

Medical student Naina Talwar feels as though time is slipping away from her. When she encounters Aditi Mehra, an old classmate, while grocery shopping with her mother, she realizes she wants more out of life. She decides on the spur of the moment to embark on a hiking adventure that Aditi had mentioned during their visit to the Himalayas in Manali.

As they embark on numerous excursions and adventures, she rekindles her friendship with Aditi and her other former classmates, Kabir “Bunny” Thapar and Avinash “Avi” Arora. Bunny is a charmer who has no desire to settle down and instead wants to travel and experience the globe. Avi is a playboy who just enjoys gambling and drinking. While on the hike, Naina and Bunny develop a close relationship and she falls in love. As Avi makes advances on another hiker, Aditi is envious.

Although Avi is not attracted to Aditi, Bunny and Naina are aware of this. When the tour comes to a conclusion, Avi tells the other members of the group that Bunny has been admitted to Northwestern University’s journalism department in Chicago and that he would be departing India in three weeks. Because they are all growing up and it’s time to become grownups, Adi advises Avi that he should leave even though he is angry about it. Despite knowing that love and marriage are not part of Bunny’s plans, Naina keeps her sentiments to herself.

After eight years, Naina is done with attended medical school and is currently employed at a clinic. Bunny travels the world while working as a videographer for a travel show. As the show draws to a close, he accepts an opportunity to host a brand-new travel program. He receives a virtual wedding invitation video from Aditi, who is moving too much to be contacted by mail. Aditi is getting married to Taran Khanna, a wealthy and nerdy engineer. For her destination wedding, Bunny travels to Udaipur.

Avi is upset with him because Bunny didn’t bother to contact them after he left, even if Adi and Naina are thrilled to see him. It becomes clear from their discussions that Bunny’s father passed away while he was away. Avi and Bunny receive into a fight, in which Avi is angry with Bunny for not trying to keep their friendship going, and Bunny calls him a loser who is trapped in the past and has gambling debts and a drinking problem. Aditi intervenes to stop them from fighting and forces them to apologize.

The following wedding event’s dance floor is where they patch up their friendship. As they spend time together during the wedding festivities, Naina’s feelings for Bunny intensify once more. Bunny teases her about a possible love interest whose texts he notices on her phone. She also draws Bunny’s attention. Talking about their life goals, the two spend the day exploring Udaipur. Bunny talks about his desire to see the world and experience everything that Naina promotes the values of getting married, starting a big family, and staying near one’s home and relatives.

Later, Bunny witnesses Aditi go up to Avi to talk to him before Taran pulls her away and they begin arguing. Bunny questions her about why she is marrying Taran, believing that he is overly envious about Adi’s conversation with Avi. She informs him that Taran was actually keeping her back in order to maintain their friendship, and that she went to Avi with the intention of reprimanding and slapping him for wasting money on alcohol and poker while Taran settled his debts.

She claims that she is more happier with Taran and has moved on from Avi. Bunny acknowledges that he has the same feelings for Naina, but He is about to tell her this when he notices her drinking with another man and becomes envious. He tells the man to depart and introduces himself as her boyfriend.

Naina tells him she can’t continue to spend time with him because she will fall in love with him again and he won’t feel the same way, which leads to an argument between the two. They proclaim their love when Bunny gives her a kiss, but neither of them is prepared to sacrifice their lifestyle or work to follow the other. After concluding that it would be best if they forgot one another, Naina says goodbye with tears in her eyes.

After Aditi’s wedding, Bunny sobs as she leaves for Paris at the airport. He remembers being at the airport He understands the significance of what he is leaving behind after being there eight years earlier. Returning to his father’s house, he makes amends with his stepmother for not seeing him before his death and lets go of his past animosity toward her.

He is reassured by his stepmother that his father wanted him to follow his happiness. Bunny pays Naina an unexpected visit on New Year’s Eve while she is by herself at home. He offers to marry her and says that he has given up his ideal job in Paris in order to be with her. She worries that he would come to regret his choice, but Bunny responds that he is content with her and wants to travel more, but only with her, saying they can make a life in tandem. After Naina gives in, they call Aditi and Avi. After wishing one another a happy new year, Bunny and Naina embrace as the movie comes to a close.

About ARIJIT SINGH:

Kakkar Singh, a Punjabi Sikh father, and Aditi Singh, a Bengali Hindu mother, welcomed Arijit Singh into the world on April 25, 1987 at Jiaganj, Murshidabad, West Bengal. During the Partition, his paternal family moved from Lahore. At a very young age, he started learning music at home. His maternal grandmother was a singer, and his maternal aunt studied Indian classical music. His mother sang and played the tabla, and his maternal uncle played the instrument as well.

He attended Raja Bijay Singh High School before continuing his education at Sripat Singh College, which is affiliated with the University of Kalyani. He claims that his parents chose to have him professionally trained since he “was a decent student, but cared more about music.” He received instruction in Indian classical music by Rajendra Prasad Hazari, and Dhirendra Prasad Hazari taught him the tabla.

He learned pop music and Rabindranath Tagore’s songs, known as Rabindra Sangeet, from Birendra Prasad Hazari. He began receiving instruction from the Hazari brothers when he was three years old, and at nine years old, the government awarded him a scholarship to study Indian classical music singing.

He grew up listening to Bengali classical music, Beethoven, and Mozart.[Reference required] He loved listening to Kishore Kumar, Hemant Kumar, and Manna Dey, and he admired musicians such as Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, Ustad Rashid Khan, Zakir Hussain, and Anand Chatterjee.

Beginnings of a career (2005–2009)
Rajendra Prasad Hazari, Singh’s mentor, believed that “Indian classical music was a dying tradition” and launched Singh’s musical career insisted that he leave his hometown and compete in the 2005 season of Fame Gurukul, a reality show, at the age of 18. After placing sixth in the audience poll, he was eliminated.[Reference required]

Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali saw his potential during the performance and asked him to sing “Yun Shabnami,” a song that would appear in his next movie Saawariya. Singh’s version was eliminated when the screenplay was altered during production. It was never made available. The leader of Tips, Kumar Taurani, signed him for an album that was never published after the Fame Gurukul.

2010–13: Aashiqui 2 and early releases
Singh began collaborating with Pritam on three movies in 2010: Action Replayy, Crook, and Golmaal 3. He began singing scratches in the Telugu cinema industry with Sandeep Chowta’s song “Neeve Na Neeve Na” from the 2010 movie Kedi. The Mithoon tune “Phir Mohabbat” from Murder 2, which Singh recorded in 2009 but released in 2011, marked his Bollywood musical debut. He was requested to sing by Pritam in the same year that he was programming the song “Raabta” from Agent Vinod (2012).

2014
Singh had the opportunity to collaborate with A. R. Rahman and Sajid-Wajid, two of his favorite music directors, in 2014. He played two songs Heropanti’s “Raat Bhar” and “Main Tera Hero” are featured in Sajid-Wajid. The Hindi rendition of the Kochadaiiyaan song “Medhuvaagathaan” called “Dil Chaspiya” was also dubbed by him for A. R. Rahman.

He performed three re-mixed songs: “Samjhawan” by Sharib-Toshi for Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, and “Hungama Ho Gaya” by Amit Trivedi  for Yaariyan. He provided the voice of Arko Pravo Mukherjee’s “Aaj Phir” from Hate Story 2, “Jiya” from Gunday, and “Mast Magan” from 2 States.[Reference required] Singh recorded two songs from Haider with Vishal Bhardwaj, and he collaborated with Sachin-Jigar on “Jaise Mera Tu” for Happy Ending.

Throughout the year, he collaborated with numerous other music directors, such as Palak Muchhal on “Tu Hi Hai Aashiqui” and Tony Kakkar on “Sawan Aaya Hai.” While He sang Mithoon’s parts on “Humdard” for Ek Villain and “Hai Dil Ye Mera” for Hate Story 2 throughout the year. He collaborated with Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy on “Sajde” for Kill Dil and Vishal–Shekhar on “Manwa Laage” for Happy New Year.

He performed on three tracks for Pritam Chakraborty’s Holiday, which Singh personally arranged, and two songs on Sharib-Toshi’s Zid.[Reference required] In addition to receiving two Filmfare nominations for “Suno Na Sangemarmar” and the Sufi song “Mast Magan,” Jeet Gannguli’s song Muskurane earned him the most nominations of the year. Originally sung by Mehdi Hassan and rewritten for Haider by Vishal Bhardwaj, Singh chose “Gulon Mein Rang Bhare” as his favorite song of the year.

2015 saw Singh’s debut in Tamil with the song Pugazh’s “Neeye Vaazhkai Enbena” feature. In addition, he contributed vocals to the dance song “Sooraj Dooba Hain” from Roy, which was penned by Kumaar and composed by Amaal Mallik. “Party Anthem of the Year” was how it was marketed. In addition to collaborating with Sachin-Jigar on “Chunar”  and Chirantan Bhatt on “Teri Meri Kahaani” , he also worked with a few up-and-coming composers, including Bann Chakraborty, Khamosh Shah, Jatinder Shah, and Manj Musik. For Ek Paheli Leela, Singh also recorded a repeat of the 1999 song “Deewana Tera” by Sonu Nigam.

Singh and Himesh Reshammiya worked together for the first time that year on the song “Baaton Ko Teri” from All Is Well. He played “Saware” from Phantom and provided the voice of Bhardwaj in Talvar’s “Shaam Ke Saaye” and Drishyam’s “Kya Pataa”. Singh released his second promotional video in addition to recording soundtracks. unmarried throughout the year. The song “Chal Waha Jaate Hain” was written by Mallik and includes Kriti Sanon and Tiger Shroff. 2016
Written by Swanand Kirkire and composed by Amit Trivedi, Singh sang “Yeh Fitoor Mera” at the beginning of 2016. In their review, Firstpost praised the song and referred to it as a Fitoor album staple. Singh’s voice was praised by Firstpost as well. The song “Satrangi Re” from the movie Wrong Side Raju marked Singh’s Gujarati debut.

Among his notable Hindi songs from 2016 was “Soch Na Sake,” a duet with Tulsi Kumar from the film Airlift, which was penned by Kumaar and arranged by Amaal Mallik [citation needed]. “Sanam Re” is the lead single from the Mithoon-composed and -written film Sanam Re, the Kapoor and Sons song “Bolna” [94], and the Pritam Chakraborty-composed and Manoj Yadav-written duet “Itni Si Baat Hain” with Antara Mitra.

Singh was the main vocalist on the Raaz Reboot soundtrack, performing the song “Lo Maan Liya,” which was written by Kausar Munir and composed by Jeet Ganguly. He also performed the eerie tunes “Yaad Hain Na” and “Raaz Aakhein Teri” from the same movie.

He sang the Mithoon-composed and Sayeed Quadri-written duet “Dharkhaast” with Sunidhi Chauhan from the movie Shivaay. The song “Dharkhaast” received praise from Daily News and Analysis for the vocals of Singh and Sunidhi.

About AMITABH BHATTACHARYA:

Born on November 16, 1976, Amitabh Bhattacharya is a Bengali Indian playback vocalist and lyricist who contributes to Bollywood movies. He became well-known after the song “Emotional Atyachar” became an immediate hit in the movie Dev.D. “Band Master Rangeela And Rasila” was the name he used when singing this song. Alongside Amit Trivedi, he contributed his voice to this song.

Since then, he has consistently penned lyrics for numerous Bollywood films and performed in a number of them. Since their first collaboration, Aamir, Bhattacharya and Amit Trivedi have also remained close. He has either sang or written the lyrics for the majority of the latter’s cinema albums. Born in Kolkata, India, on June 14, 1971, Pritam Chakraborty—commonly referred to as Pritam—is a National Award-winning composer, musician, guitarist, music producer, and singer. After earning his degree in Sound Engineering from FTII, he composed jingles for advertisements before making his co-composition debut in the 2001 Hindi movie Tere Liye.

The film Dhoom marked his solo composing debut. He won the Zee Cine Award for Best Track of the Year and received other accolades for his composition of the title track of Dhoom, which became the first viral song in Indian cinema history.

Over the course of a two-decade career, he has composed music for over 125 Bollywood films and won multiple accolades, including one National Film Award Four Mirchi Music Awards for Music Composer of the Year, six Filmfare Awards for Best Music Director, and numerous others.

Childhood
Pritam was born into a Bengali family to Anuradha and Prabodh Chakraborty. He learnt to play the guitar in school and received his first musical instruction from his father, who once operated a musical school.[Reference required]

He attended St. James’ School and graduated from Presidency College with a bachelor’s degree in geology. During his presidency, Pritam was affiliated with the Independents’ Consolidation, a nonpartisan political platform. Pritam began studying sound recording and engineering at FTII, Pune, in 1994.

Pritam played in the band “Jotugriher Pakhi” that he founded with his fellow Presidency batchmates the guitar.Around that period, they issued a tape. Pritam joined Chandrabindoo, a Bangla band. Later, while filming Life in a… Metro, Pritam formed the band Metro with James, Suhail, Soham, and Eric Pillai.

Career 1997–2003: Bollywood debut and ad jingles
Chakraborty arrived in Mumbai in 1997 after graduating from FTII Pune with a degree in sound engineering. He met other up-and-coming musicians like Shantanu Moitra, Rajkumar Hirani, Sanjay Gadhvi, and Jeet Gannguli while writing ad jingles. Santro, Emami, McDonald’s, Head & Shoulders, Thums Up, Limca, Complan, and others have all had well-known jingles written by Pritam. She has also written theme tunes for TV series including Astitva, Kkavyanjali, Ye Meri Life Hai, Remix, Kashmeer, Miilee, and Dil Kare.

Tere Liye, which was released in December 2001, gave Pritam his first break. Despite the positive reception of the music, the movie fell short. The Jeet-Pritam team once again wrote the music for Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai, a film released by Yash Raj Films, in 2002. Every song from the movie was a hit on the charts. Soon after, following some misunderstanding, Jeet chose to split from the partnership.

2004–2009: Love Aaj Kal, Life in a Metro, and Dhoom
Pritam’s works were renowned for their ability to fuse western elements with Indian traditional music. His music was a huge smash for Gadhvi’s second movie, Dhoom. Geographical boundaries were broken by the title track of Dhoom, which became well-liked in bars in the UK, USA, and the East in both Hindi (performed by Sunidhi Chauhan) and English (performed by Tata Young).

Asia and earned him Best Track of the Year, his first Zee Cine Award. His work on the Dhoom soundtrack earned him his first nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Music Director.

About RANBIR KAPOOR:

Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, both stars in the Hindi film business, welcomed Ranbir Kapoor into the world on September 28, 1982, in Bombay, Maharashtra, India. He is the grandson of actor-director Raj Kapoor and the great-grandson of Prithviraj Kapoor. Riddhima, his older sister, was born in 1980 and works as a fashion and interior designer.

His first cousins are the actresses Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor, and his uncle is the actor Randhir Kapoor. Born to a Sikh mother and a Hindu father, Kapoor is of Punjabi heritage. He attended the Bombay Scottish School for his education. He would rank low among his contemporaries and showed little interest in academics while he was a student. After Black came out, Bhansali cast Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, and Rani Mukerji as the main characters in his tragic romance Saawariya from 2007. The movie is the tale of a vagrant, portrayed by him, who develops an obsession with a woman who is waiting for her beloved to return. According to Kapoor, his character was written as a tribute to his grandfather’s legendary roles as a tramp, in an interview with the news and entertainment website Rediff.com.

Gaurav Malani, a film critic, criticized Kapoor’s “over-excited husky baritone” while applauding his sense of humor. Rocket Singh: salesperson of the Year, a drama starring a sardar who wants to become a salesperson and directed by Shimit Amin, was his last release of the year.

Although Mayank Shekhar, a film reviewer, gave the movie high marks and said that Kapoor’s acting was “astonishingly sincere,” the movie did not do well at the box office. Kapoor later claimed that the movie’s lack of success on the box office greatly disappointed him. His performances in all three of his 2009 films earned him the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor at the 55th Filmfare Awards At the presentation, he was also nominated for two Best Actor awards for Wake Up Sid and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.

Raajneeti, a high-profile ensemble political drama directed by Prakash Jha, was Kapoor’s first release of 2010. The Indian epic Mahabharata and Mario Puzo’s 1969 novel The Godfather served as inspiration for the movie, which starred Nana Patekar, Ajay Devgn, Arjun Rampal, Manoj Bajpayee, Katrina Kaif, and Sarah Thompson in key parts.

Based on the figures of Arjuna and Michael Corleone, Kapoor played Samar Pratap, the younger heir of an Indian political dynasty who is reluctantly driven to politics following his father’s murder. It was his first complicated job, according to Kapoor, who saw it as a change from the “lover boy roles” he had previously performed. However, the movie was a huge commercial success, earning over ₹1.43 billion (US$17 million) globally. For the movie, Kapoor was nominated for a third time for Best Actor at Filmfare.

Later same year, Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra worked together on Anand’s comedy-drama Anjaana Anjaani, which tells the story of two strangers who resolve to end their lives on New Year’s Eve. Despite receiving minimal critical acclaim, the movie was a moderate financial success. “Ranbir tries hard to salvage the film, dropping his shirt several times but even his lovingly shot chest can’t save the film,” concluded Anupama Chopra of NDTV after Rajeev Masand observed that Kapoor “struggles with a badly-defined role.”

Kapoor played Janardhan “Jordan” Jakhar in Imtiaz Ali’s Rockstar (2011), a drama that chronicles the rise of an ambitious singer from a lowly beginning to global fame, after starring in an item number in the children’s movie Chillar Party (2011). About DEEPIKA PADUKONE:

Padukone was born to Indian parents who spoke Konkani on January 5, 1986, in Copenhagen, Denmark. Her mother, Ujjala, works as a travel agent, and her father, Prakash Padukone, used to play badminton professionally. Anisha, her younger sister, plays golf. Ramesh, her paternal grandfather, served as the Mysore Badminton Association secretary.

When Padukone was a year old, the family moved to Bangalore, India. She finished her pre-university studies at Mount Carmel College after attending Sophia High School in Bangalore. She later enrolled in the Indira Gandhi National Open University to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology, but she left because her modeling profession interfered with her schedule.

According to Padukone, she was socially uncomfortable as a youngster and had few companions. She played competitive badminton from an early age, making it the center of her life. In a 2012 interview, Padukone described her daily schedule: “I would wake up at five in the morning, go for physical training, go to school, again go for playing badminton, finish my homework, and go to sleep.”

Throughout her time in school, Padukone persisted with her profession as a badminton player, competing in national tournaments. She participated in a few state-level baseball competitions as well. Padukone worked as a child model while focusing on her studies and athletic career; at the age of eight, she made her debut in a few ad campaigns.

She wanted to pursue a career in fashion in the tenth grade model. “I realized that I was playing the game only because it ran in the family,” she later clarified. My father wasn’t offended when I requested if I may stop playing the game. She started working as a model full-time in 2004 under Prasad Bidapa’s guidance.

In her early career, Padukone modeled for a number of different companies and goods after becoming well-known for a television ad for the serial opera Liril. She won Model of the Year at the Kingfisher Fashion Awards in 2005 and debuted on the runway for designer Suneet Varma during Lakme Fashion Week. When Padukone starred in a well-liked print campaign for the 2006 Kingfisher Calendar, her notoriety grew.  Designer Wendell Rodricks remarked, “Since We haven’t had a girl as fresh and lovely as Aishwarya Rai.”

Rodricks signed her to the Matrix entertainment agency after spotting her at a Ganjam jewelry class he was giving. Padukone moved to Mumbai when she was 21 and lived with her aunt. She became well-known in 2006 after appearing in the music video for the song “Naam Hai Tera” by Himesh Reshammiya from the album Aap Ka Surroor.

Padukone quickly started getting offers for movie parts. She signed up for a class at Anupam Kher’s film college since she thought she was too inexperienced as an actor. The director Farah Khan, who had seen her in Reshammiya’s song video, decided to cast her in the film after much media speculation.

The “considerable restraint” she displayed in her performance surprised Sudhish Kamath of the Hindu. In the romantic comedy Break Ke Baad, she played the opposite of Imran Khan. Padukone’s last 2010 release was Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey, a historical drama starring Abhishek Bachchan and directed by Ashutosh Gowariker.

The 1930 Chittagong armory attack is reenacted in the movie, which is based on the book Do and Die. Bachchan portrayed revolutionary leader Surya Sen, while Padukone portrayed his confidante Kalpana Dutta. Padukone claimed that because there was so little information available on Dutta, she was unable to investigate her part and had to rely on Gowarikar’s guidance. With an item number in the movie Dum Maaro Dum, Padukone kicked off 2011. The movie failed at the box office despite the high expectations of trade journalists.

Although Padukone was cited by Pratim D. Gupta as the most “refreshing thing” about it, the most of the critical response was negative. Alongside Kumar and John Abraham, she made her last performance of the year in the comedy Desi Boyz, a part that did not advance her career. The negative reviews caused critics to believe Padukone had “[lost] her sparkle.”
