About Always :

Childhood

He started singing at Grand Saline’s Main Street Baptist church when he was thirteen years old. Tomlin composed his first worship song at age fourteen. He gained experience leading worship in his youth group while he was in high school. He enrolled at Tyler Junior College (TJC) in 1990 with the intention of pursuing a profession in physical therapy or medicine after graduating from Grand Saline High School. Tomlin enrolled at Texas A&M University to study medicine after graduating in 1992 .

He became involved with Breakaway, a Christian club on campus, and rose to the position of worship leader. Tomlin received his degree from Texas A&M in 1994 with a psychology bachelor’s degree. Career

Tomlin’s independently published album, Inside Your Love, came out in 1995. He put out Authentic on Sparrow Records in 1998. tomlin joined the recently established sixstepsrecords, a division of Passion Conferences, in 2000. The Noise We Make, his first solo album to be published nationally, included the song “Forever” in 2001. In 2002, he released his second studio album, Not to Us, along with the live EP 545.

Individual life

On November 9, 2010, Tomlin married Lauren Bricken . Ashlyn, Madison, and Elle are the three girls they have together.
