Indian singer Narendra Chanchal (16 October 1940 – 22 January 2021) was known for his devotional hymns and songs. In addition to singing numerous bhajans, Chanchal had also performed songs in Hindi movies. He sang several well-known bhajans and Hindi movie songs throughout history.

Mahendra Kapoor was an Indian playback singer who lived from 9 January 1934 to 27 September 2008. During his extensive career spanning several decades, he performed well-known songs like Neele Gagan ke tale (Hamraaz) and Chalo ekbaar phir se Ajnabi ban jayen hum dono (Gumrah).
However, the patriotic songs that became most closely associated with his name were Mere Desh Ki Dharti from Manoj Kumar’s film Upkaar. He regarded Muhammad Rafi as his teacher. The Indian government bestowed the Padma Shri upon him in 1972. In the majority of his films, he provided Manoj Kumar’s voice.
