About Anurag Saikia:

Indian film soundtrack composer, music director, music producer, and instrumentalist Anurag Saikia was born in December 1988  and hails from Assam, India. For Yugadrashta, he was one of the youngest composers to win the Rajat Kamal Award for Best Non-Feature Film Music Direction.

His father, Dr. Anil Saikia, is an academician who received the Pratima Barua Pandey Memorial Award on December 27, 2011, for his efforts to preserve and promote Assamese folk music and culture. His mother, Dipali Saikia, is a teacher and performer on All India Radio.

Childhood
